anyone has these cds?

for christmas,my ex-guitarist surprised me with very fine gifts. the frank zappa cd "shut up n play yer guitar 2-disc" and another one called "guitar" 2-disc also with vinnie on it.(such killer drumming btw!) i know that he shared drumming duties here with terry bozzio and chad wackerman. thing is,he couldn't find the inlay cards so i'm left guessing who played which tracks (& there are a lot of it)...anyone who has these cds who can help me? i would very much appreciate it!...i gotta add it's amazing how vinnie took zappa's music to an extreme level at such a young age! (though bozzio and wackerman did great too) but it's exciting to hear a hot young vinster without a seatbelt! any help would be appreciated [img]smile.gif[/img]

thanks bananajou! that was just what i needed and more! [img]smile.gif[/img] i especialy liked all that info on joe's garage. it's my fave zappa album of all time from ist song to end!!!

Now you need to get the Frank Zappa Guitar Book. It has several songs from Shut up and Garage with Vinnie's parts transcribed along with Frank's. Great book.
